‘Multiple Victims’ From ‘Active Shooter Incident’ in Austin, Texas: Police

Police in Austin, Texas, have confirmed that an "active shooter incident" in the city's downtown has resulted in "multiple victims."

"Stay away from downtown," police urged residents in a tweet early Sunday morning.

And the Austin-Travis County EMS tweeted there were "multiple" individuals with gunshot wounds.

Police tweeted there were "separate shootings within the same area. Both scenes are secure at this time. PIO responding to identify staging area."
